Glaser Sails officially opened for business in 5-05 and enjoys a strong presence in the class. In the past seven World Championships, Glaser Sails have been used by many teams from different countries in the top ten.

We are really lucky to have the input of some very talented, committed and innovative 505 sailors to help with sail development and boat set-up and tuning.

Jay is on the water every week during the sailing season coaching and working on 505 sails and sailing techniques.  His schedule includes at least one day a week on the water with Long Beach's "Team Tuesday" 505 sailors including Howie Hamlin and Mike Martin. 

Development into new materials and sail shapes is ongoing. At the last three Worlds, teams in the top 10 used both our standard cross-cut technora sails as well as the newer radial model mainsail.    We now offer an optional zipper luff on the jib for ease of rigging.  We design, cut and build all of our sails in our loft in California and work very hard to make the sails as consistently excellent as possible.
