Glaser Sails officially opened for business in 5-05 and enjoys a strong presence in the class.  In the past four World Championships, Glaser Sails have been used by two out of the top six in each Worlds including three of the top eight in 2008; by five of the top ten in 2007, 3 of the top 10 in 2006 and 5 of the top 10 in 2005! 

We are really lucky to have the input of some very talented, committed and innovative 505 sailors to help with sail development and boat set-up and tuning.

In the 2009 season, we have been getting ready for the Worlds in San Francisco where we hope to meet lots of our overseas sailors.  We now offer an optional zipper luff on the jib for ease of rigging.  We continue to test new designs but so far have found that the standard sails test reliably fast across the range.   
We design, cut and build all of our sails in our loft in California and work very hard to make the sails as consistently excellent as possible.
